Lariston William “Bill” Morris, Jr., 94, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, September 19, 2017, at Oak Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation, Beaumont. He was born on October 26, 1922, in Lewisville, to Letha Graham and Lariston William Morris, Sr. Bill was a United States Navy veteran, having served in World War II, Bill retired from the State of Texas as a water quality inspector for the Texas Quality Water Board.

Bill is survived by his son, Charles W. Morris and his wife, Patricia; and daughter, Margaret Elizabeth Morris Brooks, and her husband, Barclay, all of Beaumont; grandchildren, Christopher Charles Morris; Michael Allen Morris; Katherine Nichole Morris; Brian Lee Lawellin and wife, Kimberly; and Courtney Elizabeth Brooke Faraci and her husband, Michael; and great-grandchildren, Jude Michael Faraci, Kailyn Lawellin, and Dylan Lawellin.

Bill is preceded in death by his wife, Jane Ruth Walker Morris; great-granddaughter, Faith Hope Faraci; brothers, James Edward Morris and Frederick Ernest Morris.

A gathering of Mr. Morris’ family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, September 22, 2017, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont, His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 23, 2017, at Broussard’s, Beaumont, with his interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
