Brother Lennie, I am still in shock. You were one of the kindest caring people I have ever known. I know you are rejoicing in heaven with our Lord and your Family. You are and will be missed by many!!

I have known Brother Lennie since 1975 when he was pastor of Barnum Baptist Church and I became pastor at Chester Baptist Church. Our families became very close a few several, years we maintained a close relationship. We both pastored churches in Shepherd, he at FBC and me at Harmony. Then I moved to Carthage. For many years after that we seldom spoke, no reason just happens. Until just a few years ago we got reacquainted. He was a good and faithful friend, minister of the gospel and a one of God most Godly men I ever knew.

Lennie taught me in Sunday School with his first wife Arlene back in the early 70s and have known him and the entire Wilson family for over 50 years. No nicer and sweeter family than this one. Miss Regenia and Lenny may you rest in peace and now are united with Darwin, Arlene and Rachel. To David Ray, Hoot, Angie and TK, y'all are in my thoughts and prayers. So many great memories.for myself and your family. God bless you all.

I was so surprised and sad to read this, but I know Bro. Lennie is not sad for he's rejoicing in heaven with the Lord. He was my first mother-in-law's pastor at Rosedale for years. When she had a stroke and moved to MO, he was so faithful to send her letters, cards, and obits so she could keep up with her church family. When my first husband passed away, he preached the funeral and so me and my MIL moved back to TX. She was in the Kountze Nursing Home and he continued to visit her and check on her. One day, he brought her some cans of vienna sausages arranged in a gift basket covered with cellophane cause he knew those were one of her favorites. He was always so thoughtful and we appreciated everything he did for our family. She passed away in 2012 and he conducted her funeral. I'm remembering Gail and his family in my prayers as they learn to live without Bro. Lennie Love In Christ, Judy
