Lessie Scarborough

Lessie Mae Scarborough, 94, of Beaumont, died Saturday, June 23, 2018. She was born on April 9, 1924, in Beaumont, to Elise Marie and Kinward J. Lamperez.

Survivors include her sons, Ron Scarborough and his wife, Peggy, of Georgetown and Kenny Scarborough and his wife, Esther, of Wildwood; granddaughters, Carrie Kinnard and her husband, Keith, of Presido; Stacie Feller and her husband, Scott; Marcie Rogers and her husband, Adam, all of Hutto; and Jessica Crozier and her husband, Derek of, La Verne, California; great-grandchildren, Elliette Kate Crozier; Parker and Tayler Rogers; Hanna, Hailey, and Timothy McMahan; Kimberly McMahan Somers and her husband, Alec; and Joshua McMahan and his wife, Megan McMahan; great-great-grandchildren, Logan and Skyla Somers and Andie Mae McMahan on the way.

Lessie is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank A. Scarborough; sister, Gaynelle LaRive; brother, R.L. Lamperez; niece, Sheryl LaRive; grandson, Christopher Scarborough; and her nephew, Terrell Lamperez.

A gathering of Mrs. Scarborough’s family and friends will begin at 12:00 p.m., with her funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 30, 2018, at Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze, with her interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
