Lillian Jordan Mueller, 83, of Beaumont, died Saturday, December 16, 2017, at Summer Place Nursing and Rehabilitation, Beaumont. She was born on August 29, 1934, to Gertie Smith and Jessie Watson Jordan, in Port Arthur. She was married to the love of her life for sixty years. Lillian was a member of St. John Lutheran Church for sixty years and served in many capacities.
She loved to sing in the church choir. Her, and her beloved Willie started a program in the church called “Twice Fed”, where she fed the people spiritually by showing a Christian video, and then Willie cooked and fed sometimes close to fifty people. They continued this service that they both loved dearly for more than seventeen years until her illness. She loved being a wife to her best friend. Being a homemaker meant the world to her and to be able to travel with Willie to numerous places for his work. She loved baking, painting, woodworking, carving, and working on her photo albums from their many travels after retiring. Lillian was happy and felt blessed as long as she was by Willie’s side.
Survivors include her husband, Willie Mueller, of Beaumont; siblings, Frankie Johnson, of Lumberton; Jeanette Sterling and her husband, Ronnie, of Beaumont; Bill Jordan and his wife, Janie, of Hamshire; and Lenoire Laviolette, of Huntsville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
