Linda Anderson

Linda Foster Anderson, age 70, passed away May 29, 2018, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont after a fierce battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. She was born October 27, 1947, in Texas City, Texas, to Camid Lee and Clara Belle Ballard.

Linda attended Texas City High School where she was Homecoming Queen and cheerleader.  She studied nursing at UTMB and Lamar University.  She then worked for several doctors here in Beaumont and is remembered for her professionalism and loving, caring manner.  She later changed career paths and went into interior design.  She relished helping her clients make their homes into special places.

Linda was preceded in death by her father, Camid.

She is survived by her mother, Clara Belle; by her partner, Chelsea Tipton; her son, William Foster and his partner, Ann Rhynes; her daughter, Angie and her husband, Scott Kinsel, and their children, Max, Penelope and Luke. Linda is also survived by her brother, Jerry Ballard and his children, Troy, Erika, and Chris.

Linda will be remembered for her sweet self that caught you with her radiant smile.

She loved music and studied voice at Lamar University. She was a member of the Interfaith Choir, where she became close to the other members through their shared love of music.  Through these past 6 months of fighting AML, so many have come to drive her to her doctor’s visits, bring meals, visit her, help in any way that was needed.

She was truly loved. Angie, William and Chelsea appreciate every one of you.

Linda will be mussed by everyone who knew her. I loved her adorable sense of humor. I know the heavenly choir is glad to have lovely voice singing with them. Godspeed-Linda.

Speaking as President of the Beaumont Interfaith Choral Society, the choir has lost a sweet spirit and devoted singer. She made a difference in her participation. We were fortunate to having had her front row smile and strong voice for our concerts. She will be remembered fondly.
