Lisa Caby Brooks

Lisa Caby Brooks, 53, of Mauriceville, passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2017, at her home. She was born on September 1, 1963, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Marilyn Slezak Caby and Frederick Caby, and moved to Beaumont with her family in 1982. Lisa enjoyed her family, friends, pets, music and cooking.

She is survived by her husband of thirty years, Tom Brooks; daughter, Sadie Brooks; brother, Fred Caby; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

A gathering of Mrs. Brooks’ family and friends will be from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., Saturday, April 1, 2017, at Robert’s Steakhouse, 3720 West Park Avenue, in Orange. A private family committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, 5150 Stivers Drive, Beaumont.
