Lloyd Carroll Stephenson

Lloyd Carroll Stephenson, 82, of China, died Sunday, January 29, 2017, at Harbor Hospice, Beaumont. He was born on May 17, 1934, in Sour Lake, to Evelyn Carroll and Lonnie H. Stephenson, and had been a longtime resident of the area. Lloyd was a employed with Operators Union Local 450.

He is survived by his sons, Herbert Stephenson and his wife, Lori, of Santa Fe and Maxey Lloyd Stephenson of China; grandchildren, Danielle Stephenson and Christopher Lloyd Stephenson; great-grandchildren, Cameron Harper, Makayla Harper, and Christopher Lloyd Stephenson II, Gavin Stephenson, and Matthew Stephenson; sister, Sue Gillikin; niece, Susan Copeland; and great-niece, Holly Copeland.

Lloyd is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Stephenson; parents; and grandson, Matthew Stephenson.

A graveside service for Mr. Stephenson will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 31, 2017, at Pine Ridge Cemetery, Highway 421, Sour Lake, under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
