Friends since Mrs. Glover’s first grade class, we always managed to keep in touch. I’ll miss you, my dear friend.

No one ever helped me as much or as graciously as Louise. And she was just so much fun to be around. My condolences to all of us.

My sincerest condolences to Rush, my brother-in-law and his wonderful kids who showed my sister a great deal of love and respect what would have been 40 years together this October. Louise was older than me by 7 years, and though we lived in different cities most of our lives, she never failed to drop cards/gifts in the mail for me and family members for holiday occasions. My family hosted 7 exchange students and we always took them to meet their Aunt and Uncle at least once during their stay while in the valley. Nuvia, Mudita, Victor, Earth, and others have reached out to us with comfort. Her Thanksgiving dinners were devine! I know when you gained your Heavenly wings, entering those pearly gates, many were ecstatic to see you like daddy, Nanny, Jimmy and many others. Gone but not forgotten; Love you Sis! Ann, your ape child sister! (Nickname while growing up)

Rush, will remain as forever in Beaumont and "The Golden Triangle". She was a great reporter and she made a mark at Lamar University.

My dear friend Rush, Those of us who know you both share in the sorrow of the passing of Louise. . What an incredible and articulate person. She brightened our lives with her humor. The road trips she took with us were a great adventure and she always managed to scout out the best and most exotic restaurants. .Obviously a great partner for you and a super friend for the rest of us. Rest in peace, my dear.

Loving Louise will go on. I was shy to introduce myself to her and asked if she was the "notorious" Louise. Later my mother said that was not the word I was looking for, but Louise and I both agreed it was. Louise shared her talent, wit, flair and support for all. Whenever I see silver, shiny anything, I feel some of her shine. Love to Rush.
