Lowell Covington
Lowell Benton Covington, 49, of Dayton, died Monday, November 5, 2018, at West Houston Medical Center. He was born on March 20, 1969, to Aremoria Ann Hereford Covington and Leonard Bascom Covington, Jr. in Beaumont. Lowell enjoyed the outdoors, canoeing, fishing, camping, and the beach and was an avid fan of rock-n-roll and jazz.
Survivors include his father, Leonard B. Covington, Jr. of Kountze; mother, Aremoria Grandja of Dallas; brother, SFC Leonard B. Covington III, US Army (Ret.) of Beaumont; grandmother, Katherine Covington of Kountze; and nephews, Bradley Covington and Brandon Wiggins; niece, Brandie Wiggins; and dearest friends, the Howard family.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Leonard B. Covington, Sr.
A family committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
