This woman is a beautiful soul who will be missed by all who knew her. She was our neighbor across the street, and she was kind and loving toward my siblings and me. My family loved "Shockee" very much. She was a beautiful person and a Godly woman.

Loyce was such a blessing in my life for many years. Her love for the Lord and her loving spirit were uplifting to all around her. After she was unable to attend church I often visited with her in her home to encourage her but more often than not it was I who left encouraged and given a faith lift. It thrills my soul to imagine the reunion she and Del had the morning she left us here on earth and went to be with the Lord. Our prayers are with her beautiful daughters and wonderful family.

Oh my goodness, how I loved Loyce! Her twinkling blue eyes and little hand up next to her face waving at me every day when I saw her at Summer Plave was something I will miss so much. She loved the Lord and everything about her church, which says so much about the wonderful church family of which she was a part for so long.. My days at work will be a little less entertaining at work with her gone, but can you imagine the fun she is stirring up in Heaven??!! What a blessing it's been to get to know you, Mickey and Martha. May the Lord give you sweet memories to enjoy until you see your sweet mama again.

Sending love and sympathy to Mrs. Shocklee's family. She was a dear friend of my grandmother, Ruth Briggs., and we heard about her often. I know they are having a ball in heaven catching up and telling stories. Love to all.

Mrs. Shocklee leaves a legacy all of her 6 generations can be very grateful for and be more the wiser for emulating. She and I bonded long ago over our shared love of certain Little Debbie treats. I will always remember her very fondly!
