TO Loyd Brumfield's family, I am very sorry for the loss of your father, husband, and friend Loyd. Unfortunately I never got to meet him, but I know several Brumfield Querbach family members & have read and heard lots of family stories about Loyd's days growing up in Jetmore KS. . My father, Calvin Bromfield, was Loyd''s 1st cousin and they were able to meet and get together a few times in their childhood.. Loyd lead a very full and interesting life, and travelled all over the world. What a blessing. My father was into geneology (as I am) and was trying to locate Loyd, Sadly dad passed away at age 88 in 2011. I heard through the family that Loyd was trying to find Cal and by that time, Dad has passed. I wished they could have gotten to talk (Dad lived in Denver then). So I was trying to locate Loyd to introduce myself to him. When I finally found out he was in Beaumont TX (I live in ID) Loyd had recently passed. I was sad about that. Loyd's father Bert Brumfield, is my great uncle. Loyd's niece Marj Querbach Delker is my 2nd cousin, and we have met recently. Again, I offer my belated condolences. Sincerely, Rae Ann Bromfield Norell
