Luella "Lou" Adcock Snell
Luella Snell, 91, of Beaumont, died Saturday, September 19, 2020 at Harbor Hospice, Beaumont. She was born on November 22, 1928 to Rosa L. Mitchell Adcock and Marion Adcock in Mira, Louisiana. Luella worked at Southern Bell Phone Company and retired from Bethlehem Steel Corporation as a General Clerk.
Survivors include her husband, James I. Snell, Jr., of Beaumont; daughters, Shirley Brown, of Beaumont; Pat Albright, of Paradise, Texas and Debra Easterwood, of Sour Lake; sister, Annie Denison, of Mira, Louisiana; nine grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by mother and father, Rosa and Marion Adcock; brothers, Frank, Emmett, Marion, Wilburn, and Clyde Adcock; sister, Winnie Mae Webb; and granddaughter, Megan Easterwood.
A gathering of Mrs. Snell’s family and friends will be at 1:00 p.m. with her funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 25, 2020 at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Julie Rogers Gift of Life Program, 2390 Dowlen Road, Beaumont, Texas 77706.
