Mabyn Gay Day, 82, of Silsbee, died Friday, August 4, 2017. She was born on April 23, 1935, in San Antonio, to Lila Singletary Casteel and Jack Casteel.
Survivors include her husband, Pat Day; son, Mitchell Day of Silsbee; brother, Fred Casteel and his wife, Nancy, of Dallas; and cousins, Linda Frank of Jasper and Prissy Ralph of Beaumont. She is preceded in death by her parents.
A gathering of Mrs. Day’s family and friends will be 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 7, 2017, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee, with her graveside service at 12:00 p.m., at Lee Cemetery, Magnolia Springs.
