Mae Busceme

February 17, 1927 - January 25, 2018

Mae Belle Busceme, 90, of Lumberton, died Thursday, January 25, 2018, at Silsbee Oaks Health Care. She was born on February 17, 1927, in Sabine Pass, to Victoria Migues Boden and John L. Boden, and had been a longtime resident of the Beaumont and Lumberton area. She retired from the Beaumont Enterprise and Journal after many years of employment.

Mae Belle is survived by her sons, George Busceme and his wife, Tina and Larry Busceme and Lissa, of Beaumont; and Charlie Busceme and his wife, Mollie, of Sour Lake; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She will be remembered for her cooking and gardening skills; and for being the best mom and grandmother a family could have!

A graveside service for Mrs. Busceme will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 30, 2018, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 4955 Pine Street, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Infant Jesus Catholic Church, PO Box 8180, Lumberton, Texas 77657.

So sorry to hear about Mae belle passing. Jan and I loved her dearly. Jan and I will never forget the times we spent together as friends and neighbors. To Jan and I, having them in our lives will always be considered a blessing. I am glad she is now at peace and dancing around with Henry in Heaven. Prayers for all of family.❤️❤️??
