Marie Stephens

Marie Noel Stephens, 97, of Lumberton, died Thursday, January 25, 2018. She was born on April 8, 1920, in Fort Worth, to Thelma Roddy Noel and Raymond Noel.

Survivors include her children, Walter Stephens and his wife, Sue, of Lumberton and Cathy Davis and her husband, Larry, of California; grandchildren, Kristin Stephens of Austin; Kelli Young and her husband, Jason, of Beaumont; and Melissa Davis, Tiffany Davis, and Anthony Davis, all of California; great-grandchildren, Cullen Stephens, Jackson Young, and Kolby Young; sister, Dorothy McDaniel; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by parents; and sister, Georgie Ann Walker.

A gathering of Mrs. Stephens’ family and friends will be 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, January 29, 2018, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 30, 2018, at Wesley United Methodist Church,3810 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Serving as pallbearers are Kolby Young, Jackson Young, Jason Young, Cullen Stephens, and Randy Carter. Her interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
