Mark Edwards

Mark Taylor Edwards, 60, of Stowell, died Friday, February 22, 2019. He was born to Yvonne Fitzpatrick and William Sanders Edwards, in Beaumont, on September 18, 1958. Mark’s true loves were horses and horseback riding.

Survivors include his siblings, Sandy Edwards, of Winnie; Bobby Edwards, of Stowell; Susan E. Bollich and her husband, Larry, of Hankamer; Anne Edwards and Joan E. Harkins, both of Austin; Jamie Edwards and his wife, Nancy, of Bridge City; Stevie Edwards and his wife, Fran, of Beaumont; Tim Edwards, of Houston; David Edwards and his wife, Debbie, of Stowell; Mary Pat Schneider and her husband, John, of Lockhart; Tommy Edwards and his wife, Allison, of Houston; Chris Edwards, of Beaumont; twenty-two nieces and nephews; and sixteen great-nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

A Rosary for Mr. Edwards will be recited at 5:00 p.m., with a gathering of his family and friends to follow until 8:00 p.m., Monday, February 25, 2019, at Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 26, 2019, at St. Louis Catholic Church, 315 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie, with a family interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at Griffin House, Port Arthur, and Pine Haven, Beaumont, for the loving care they gave Mark for many years.
