Mark Allen Elliott

September 30, 1969 - July 16, 2021

Mark Allen Elliott, 51, of Nederland, died Friday, July 16, 2021, at Jennie Sealy Hospital, Galveston. He was born September 30, 1969, to Elizabeth Ann Brown Elliott and Joe Allen Elliott, in Nacogdoches.

Mark was a loving son, husband, father, and grandfather. He was so proud of his boys, and he was worked so hard to provide a good life for them. He always wanted the boys and their families to be at the house. He had three sweet grandbabies who he was absolutely crazy about. Finley, Presley, and Liddy had “Big Daddy” wrapped around their fingers. Mark loved the Dallas Cowboys and was also a super fan of Tom Brady. He was an avid music enthusiast, loving all kinds of music especially 80’s rock, old country, and his favorite Mike Zito’s blues. When Mark was off work, he could be found in his garage listening to music, watching YouTube videos, working on his old truck, or cooking in the back. He loved to grill and made the best gumbo. He had many friends and coworkers who were his brothers. Mark accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, and he had a strong faith in God. A huge chunk of our hearts is gone with his passing.

Survivors include his wife, Christy Elliott; parents, Liz and Joe Elliott; children, Collin Elliott and wife, Sarah; and Cody Elliott and fiancé, Tori, all of Nederland; grandchildren, Finley, Presley, and Liddy Elliott; brothers, Kelly Elliott and wife, Tiana, of Port Neches; Ricky Elliott and wife, Christian, of Willis; and numerous extended family members.

A gathering of Mr. Elliott’s family and friends will begin at 12:00 p.m., with his funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 22, 2021, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. His interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.
