Mary Arceneaux
Mary Ann Arceneaux, 83, of Nederland, died Saturday, July 6, 2019, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas, Beaumont. She was born on February 19, 1936, in Port Arthur, to Olivia Bauer Czaja and Ignatz Cjaza. Mary loved sewing and going to Hobby Lobby, Joann’s and Michael’s. She had a big heart full of love and enjoyed working in the nursery at Church on the Rock. She will be missed by everyone who loves her.
Survivors include her husband, Paul Arceneaux, Jr., of Nederland; daughters, Phyllis Hebert, of Nederland and Darlene Sutton and her common-law husband, Richard Spark, of Sour Lake; sons, Kenneth Arceneaux and his wife, Teri, of Port Acres; Jeff Arceneaux, of Early; and David Arceneaux, of Nederland; grandchildren; Jessica Walker and her husband, Jared; Tyler Hebert and his wife, Daryl; Doug Sutton; Amy Sanchez and her husband, Aaron; Kolby Arceneaux and his wife, Joni; Korey Arceneaux and his wife, Miranda; and Steven Arceneaux; and great-grandchildren, Jonas Lemons, Brylee Walker, Jacks Walker, Cruz Walker, Grace Hebert, and Kace and Kenly Arceneaux.
She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Cecilia Czaja; and sons-in-law; Lucien Hebert and Albert Sutton, Jr.
A gathering of Mrs. Arceneaux’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 9, 2019, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 10, 2019, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 211 Hardy Avenue, Nederland, with interment to follow at Memory Gardens of Jefferson County, Nederland.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
