Loved Aunt Maggie — her big laugh and her big heart. Once on a visit to our house in the country, she asked to ride with me around our field as I practiced for my driver’s license. Round and round we went. I began to complain how boring it was and how I yearned to drive out in the real world. “Oh, I don’t know, “ she said. “A beautiful field, no traffic, music on the radio … I could do this for a long, long time.” She helped open my eyes to the value of peace and simplicity. All the best to my dear cousins and their families.

Even though not family by blood, Aunt Maggie was an important part of our family's life, especially my mom's. She thought of Maggie as a sister. I always enjoyed being in her presence. Aunt Maggie's laugh and gentle nature are something I will always remember. May she rest peacefully in Jesus' arms and the perpetual light shine upon her,
