Even though not family by blood, Aunt Maggie was an important part of our family's life, especially my mom's. She thought of Maggie as a sister. I always enjoyed being in her presence. Aunt Maggie's laugh and gentle nature are something I will always remember. May she rest peacefully in Jesus' arms and the perpetual light shine upon her,

Loved Aunt Maggie — her big laugh and her big heart. Once on a visit to our house in the country, she asked to ride with me around our field as I practiced for my driver’s license. Round and round we went. I began to complain how boring it was and how I yearned to drive out in the real world. “Oh, I don’t know, “ she said. “A beautiful field, no traffic, music on the radio … I could do this for a long, long time.” She helped open my eyes to the value of peace and simplicity.

All the best to my dear cousins and their families.
