Mary Jordan

Mary B. Jordan, 88, of Sour Lake, died Saturday, August 11, 2018. She was born on October 25, 1929, in Sipes Springs, to Oma Strackbein and James Kay Brown. She was a devoted member of Faith Assembly of God Church, Lumberton.

Survivors include her husband, Mert “Bud” Jordan; son, James H. Jordan; and daughter, Sheri Puckett, all of Lumberton; grandchildren, Joseph Jordan and his wife, Tabatha, of Vidor; Jason Jordan and his wife, Christian, of Lumberton; Joy Jordan, of Wisconsin; Mindy Saulters and her husband, Ricky, of Rockwall; Ashley Northcutt and her husband, Aaron, of Royce City; Kristi Trahan and her husband, Paul, of Dickinson; Jonathan Puckett and his wife, Andrea, of Cincinnati, Ohio; and Kimberly Owens and her husband, Chad, of Silsbee; and seventeen great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by sister, Annetta Pillow; and daughter, Kay Byford.

A gathering of Mrs. Jordan’s family and friends will begin at 12:00 p.m., with her funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 14, 2018, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her interment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery, Sour Lake.
