Michael “Mickey” Wayne Riley

December 21, 1939 - September 1, 2017

Michael “Mickey” Wayne Riley, 77, of Nederland, died Wednesday, August 30, 2017. He was born on December 21, 1939, in Palestine, Texas to Beatrice Campbell and Burton Riley.

Survivors include his beloved soul mate, Wanda Mosely, of Orange; son, Wayne Riley of Groves; daughter, Kari McCraine and her husband, Chad McCraine, of New Orleans, Louisiana; four half-sisters; grandchildren Matthew Riley and his wife, Sarah; Kristin Riley; Joshua Riley; great-granddaughter Jade Riley; nieces Denise Ducote, Mary Campbell and Deborah Campbell; nephew Darrell Berwick.

He was preceded in death by his wife of forty-four years, Ruth Riley; his parents and sister, Ethel Campbell.

The visitation for Mr. Riley’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Friday, September 8, 2017, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. A celebration of life will follow at 7:30 p.m., at Jefferson County Singles Club, 111 Green Avenue, Nederland. His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 9, 2017, at Broussard’s, with his graveside service to follow at 3:00 p.m., at Sonnier Family Cemetery, Soileau, Louisiana 70589.
