Mildred Marie Creel Hill

Mildred Marie Creel Hill, 89, of Silsbee, died Tuesday, April 6, 2021.  She was born on September 22, 1931, in Beaumont, to Edna Riley Schiesler and Henry Schiesler.

Survivors include her husband, Pat Hill; children, Craig Creel and his wife, Cathy, of Fruita, Colorado; Becky Ekvall and her husband, Rich, of Silsbee; and Dana Hess and her spouse, Kaylene Arafiles, of Wimberly; Debra Glasspool and her husband, Charles, of Village Mills; Shirley Cox and her husband, Richard and Michael Hill and his wife, Beverly, all of Silsbee; and James Hill and his wife, Pamela, of Lumberton; grandchildren, Caleb Creel, Rachel Byrom, Tabi Wiegardt, Caitlin Swanda, Jamin Ekvall, Steven Hess, Cameron Creel, Carisa Melancon, Jason Allen, Justin Allen, Kimberly Tyrpak, Carrie Cox, Larie Lockett, Jamie Hill, Chance Hill, Lucas Dowden, Summer Castillo, and Gage Hill; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; brother, Pat Schiesler of Vidor; and sisters, Edna Gass and her husband, James, of Athens and Margaret Root and her husband, Mike, of Silsbee.  She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Mary Lou Fontenot and brothers, Paul Schiesler, Forrest Schiesler, John Schiesler, Edward Schiesler, and Mark Schiesler.

A gathering of Mrs. Hill’s family and friends will begin at 9:00 a.m., with her funeral service at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 10, 2021, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.  Her interment will follow at Resthaven Cemetery, Silsbee.
