Milton Smith

Milton Harold Smith, 80, of Evadale, died Thursday, December 5, 2019. He was born on January 20, 1939, in Weirgate, to Bessie May Ayers and K.C. Smith. Milton was a United States Army veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Johnnie Merle Smith; daughter, Lisa Mansfield and her husband, Jerry, all of Evadale; daughter-in-law, Keri Smith of Silsbee; grandchildren, Jeremy Mansfield and his wife, Amber, of Buna; Brittany Dalton and her husband, R.J.; Aaron Smith and his wife, Heather, all of Evadale; and Landon Smith of Silsbee; great-grandchildren, Jaylen Dalton, Owen Dalton, and soon to be Clayton Smith.

Milton is preceded in death by his parents; son, Dewayne Smith; and siblings, Leroy Smith, Weldon Smith, Kenneth Smith, and Frances Smith.

A gathering of Mr. Smith’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Sunday, December 8, 2019, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. His funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 9, 2019, at Calvary Apostolic Tabernacle, 220 FM 105, Evadale, with his interment to follow at Morse Cemetery, Buna.
