Norwood Pierce "Buck" Fox

August 10, 1932 - February 12, 2021

Norwood Pierce “Buck” Fox, 88, of Port Arthur, died Friday, February 12, 2021. He was born August 10, 1932, in Beaumont, to Mary Sue Barron Fox and William Benjamin Fox.

Buck was a United States Army veteran. He was an adventurous outdoorsman that enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing, and crabbing. He especially loved to travel and spend time at the beach. Above all else, Buck loved his daughters. He will be remembered for being the kind of man that was always willing to help others.

Survivors include his daughters, Terri Fox Nelson and husband, David, of Beaumont; Tracy Fox Mistrot and husband, Bobby, of Crystal Beach; and Tami Fox Nunez and husband, Steve, of Nederland; grandchildren, Katherine; Elizabeth; Ashley; Patrick; Bucky; Houston; Larry; Cary; and Julian; great-grandchildren, Mae; Tessa; Nolan; Austin; Andrew; Grace; Aiya; Alyjah; Eric; Killian; Carson; Jordi; and Benji; sister, Joann Miller, of Houston; and his children’s mother, Dorothy Fox.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation arrangements for Mr. Fox will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland.

He was a true friend to me and I will miss him. After my heart surgery he visited me every day to check on me and keep me company. After he moved I kept asking him his new address so we could visit him and he always said I’m not hard to find I can see Walmart from here. Please text me and let me know what happened to him.
