Ola Mae Smith

Ola Mae Smith, 86, of Kountze, died Monday, June 1, 2020. She was born on January 28, 1934, in Beaumont, to Thelma Louise Franklin Bumstead and Whitfield Bumstead.

Survivors include her son, Donny Smith and his wife, Debbie, of Dallas; nephews, Douglas Thornhill and his wife, Janeen, of Kemah, and Danny Ray Thornhill of Lumberton; sister, Peggy Thornhill of Kountze; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ola Mae is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Louis A. Smith; and her son, Allen Whitfield Smith.

A gathering of Mrs. Smith’s family and friends will begin 12:00 p.m., with her funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 6, 2020, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. Her interment will follow at Old Hardin Cemetery, Kountze. Please observe social distancing guidelines.
