Opal “Ms. Brown” was a brilliant teacher, if we needed to be tutored, or just needed someone to talk to, her door was always open. From my mother, Nadine would sub her classes if she had other obligations and my son, Alan had her too. I would go up to the school quite a bit to visit some of my teachers and she was always one that I enjoyed getting to visit with. She thought the world of Alan and that just meant so much to me. I am so glad I took the time to visit with her and sit here with my son telling stories of our times with her. There is one other great memory...Halloween Carnival was a highlight for her current and former students. She would dress as a Witch and boy did she ever play the part. Watching the video she always had a smile on her face and the funniest giggle/laugh. Thank you Opal for all you brought to my life as well as my son. We will cherish those memories close to our hearts. Rest In Peace, Laura K. & Alan
