Otis “Odie” rodriguez
Otis “Odie” Rodriguez, 87, of Port Bolivar, died Saturday, February 10, 2018. He was born October 12, 1930, in Port Bolivar, to Ethel Kahla Rodriguez and Otis J. Rodriguez.
He is survived by his wife, Emogene Rodriguez; sons, Gregory Rodriguez and Terry Rodriguez; daughter, Sherry Pruns; grandchildren, Matthew and Clay Rodriguez, Jeffery Strimple, Troy and Dowell Missledine; brother, Richard Rodriguez, and his wife, Avril; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents; sister, Mary Bouse; and daughter, Linda Missledine.
A gathering of Mr. Rodriguez’ family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Port Bolivar, 523 Nelson Street, Port Bolivar. His funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 14, 2018, at First Baptist Church, Port Bolivar, with interment at Port Bolivar Community Cemetery, Port Bolivar.
