Pamela Coleman

Pamela Coleman, 65, of Nederland, died Friday, August 31, 2018. She was born on March 4, 1953, in Michigan, to Juliette Fornols and Gerald Balitzky.

Many people remember Pam from working at Safeway, K-Mart, Lowe’s, and most recently Walmart.

Pam was a passionate Nederland Bulldog Football fan. Her favorite game was Mid County Madness. For the past 10 years she camped out overnight for tickets and was always first in line. In her spare time Pam loved to crochet, play Uno with her grandkids, watch cooking shows, and court shows.

Survivors include her mother, Juliette Dies of Port Acres; daughters, Julie Broussard and her husband, Tony, of Beaumont; April Haley; Caren Haley; and Summer Molina and her husband, Emedel, all of Nederland; thirteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Karen Miller; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Gerald Balitzky; infant son, Paul Haley, Jr.; one brother; and sister, Gail Guidry.

A gathering of Ms. Coleman’s family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., followed by her memorial service at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 8, 2018, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.

    I miss you so much mom. I know you are now healed and enjoying being reunited with Aunt Gig, David, Arlo, and Heavenly. I miss our late night texts. I know you're not physically here with us, but I know you're still with me. I see signs everyday, like the black and gold dragonfly that landed on my thumb today. I love you so much mom. It's not goodbye, it's I'll see you later.

    Momma i never thiught id ever see this i dont want to let you go. Youre my best friend my strong arm your all i have . It seems selfish nof me to want to keep you here but i dont want to miss you another second. The things i would give to have you back. I fibd myself staring at your phone number in my phone and calling your phone. I dont know what to do without you im so lost. Hold ARLO and HEAVENLY tight and i hope to see you again soon.... Its not goodbye its just ill see you later...
