Patricia Bauer

July 29, 1927 - November 14, 2018

Patricia Anita Bauer, 91, of Winnie, died Wednesday, November 14, 2018, at the Arboretum of Winnie. She was born on July 29, 1927, in Beaumont, to Juanita Allen and Pearly Hobart Brown. Patricia was a longtime resident of the Winnie area where she was a rancher and homemaker.

Survivors include her daughters, Connie Kiker and her husband, Ben, of Winnie; and Kathi L. Bauer, of Del Rio; sons, Tim Bauer and his wife, Vicki, of Winnie; LeRoy Bauer, Jr. and his wife, Karen, of Houston; and Hobart Bauer and his wife, Faye, of Winnie; fourteen grandchildren, Benjamin Kiker, Jr. and spouse, Rick Claeys; Pajé Sonnier and her husband, Kevin; Jordan Kiker; Kelsea Broomas and her husband, Jason; Courtney Loraine Bauer; Katherine Leigh Hollinger and her husband, Daniel; Matthew Rawlings Bauer and his fiancée, Michelle Rolewicz; Lance Bauer and his wife, Lisa; Cody Bauer; Brooke Bozarth and her husband, Cooper; Tricia Callihan; Eric Bauer and his wife, Danielle; Jayme Smith and her husband, John; and Ryan Bauer and his wife, Mandi; eighteen great-grandchildren, Tanner Racca, Madison Hope Racca, Kendi Marie Broomas, Georgia Rzanca, Vivian Rzanca, Samuel Hollinger, Kylie Bauer, Rylie Bauer, Emerson Bauer, Addison Bauer, Leigha Bozarth, Lincoln Bozarth, Haily Callihan, Dylan Callihan, Allison Bauer, Bryce Bauer, Joshua Smith, and Jett Smith.

Patricia is preceded in death by her parents; first husband: Conrad Vogt; and her second husband, LeRoy Bauer, Sr; son, Dr. George R. Bauer II, D.D.S.

A gathering of Mrs. Bauer’s family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., with her funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 17, 2018, at Hope Lutheran Church, 1322 9th Street, Winnie, under the direction of Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hope Lutheran Church, 1322 9th Street, Winnie, Texas 77665.

I met Mrs Bauer through Dr Bauer. I was lucky enough to have known her and visit with her for many years. She was always such A beautiful and classy woman., I always remember Dr Bauer taking the time to talk to her on the phone pretty much every day, they had such A beautiful closeness ??
