Patricia Engleman

June 28, 1948 - December 23, 2019

Patricia Jane Engleman, 71, of Sour Lake, died Monday, December 23, 2019, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas, Beaumont. She was born on June 28, 1948, to Jannie Williams Landrum and William Taft Landrum, in Kingston, Arkansas. Patricia spent most of her life caring for the elderly and her family.

Survivors include her husband, Jimmy Engleman; daughters, Jannie Mullin and her husband, Jimbo and Susan Scott and her husband, Wayne; sons, Jimmy Engleman, Jr. and his wife, Megan and William Engleman and his wife, Jessica, all of Sour Lake; and daughter, Gail Engleman and her spouse, Curtis Fontenot, of China; sisters, Sara Howard of Arkansas, Martha Howard, Alice Faye Foster of Mississippi, and Betty Dunaway of Mississippi; brothers, Terry Landrum of Oklahoma and Henry Landrum and Robert Landrum, both of Mississippi; fourteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Mary Baker and Martha Howard; brother, William Taft; and grandson, Dustin Scott.

A gathering of Mrs. Engleman’s family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m., with her funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 27, 2019, at Grayburg Baptist Church, 17480 Roadway, Sour Lake. Her interment will follow at Pine Ridge Cemetery, Sour Lake, under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
