Patricia Hester

March 17, 1936 - July 27, 2020

Patricia Hester, 84, of Buna, died Monday, July 27, 2020. She was born on March 17, 1936, in Passaic, New Jersey, to Margaret Cocorhan Wynne and T. J. Wynne.

Survivors include her children, Mary Hester of Buna; Sue Josey and her husband, William, of Buna; Greg Hester and his partner, Chris Bentsen, of Hempstead; Scott Hester and his wife, Melinda, of Omaha, Nebraska; and Liz Welch and her husband, Lynn, of Broussard, Louisiana; grandchildren, Theresa, Greg, Christie, Crystal, Jason, Michael, April, and Megan; and numerous great-grandchildren. Patricia is preceded in death by her husband, Truman Hester.

A graveside service for Mrs. Hesters’ family will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 30, 2020, at Morse Cemetery, Buna, under the direction of Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.

I am so sorry to hear of Pats passing, , she is with Tex now, I loved them both, wanted to be there but not feeling good so dont want to risk coming. My prayers are with ya though. what a reunion they are having in heaven tonight, Truman, Pat, Mother (willie bell) daddy ( Bill Hester), Cary, Junior, Pat, Pete, Mama and Papa Hester, Odell and Jeanie all together again.

A sweet, funny and kind lady. I remember going to her house and it was always so neat and clean.I lost contact with her but will never forget her.
