Patricia “Pat” Smith

Patricia Ann Smith, 68, of Anahuac, died Thursday March 22, 2018. She was born October 23, ,1949, in Gladewater, to Della Howard Jeffrey and Robert Malone. She had been a lifelong resident of the Anahuac area.

Pat is survived by daughters, Pamelar Hickinson; Eulalia Smith-May and her husband, Robert; Shonda Bradford and her husband, Lee; sons, Albert Smith, III and Reverend Shannon Smith and his wife, Tanya; grandchildren, Nicoiya Smith, Lloyd Hickinson, Shannon Mayes, Michele Smith, Jonathan May, Ja Brawn May, Chelsea Bradford, Chloe Bradford, Chasity Bradford, Caylee Bradford, Ciera Smith, Yashika Williams; twelve great-granchildren; brother, Olen Haynes, Jr.; sisters, Barbara Bolden and Carol Woodard; many other relatives and family friends.

She was preceded in death by parents; husband of thirty-nine years, Albert Smith, Jr., brothers, John Howard, R.L. “Tracy” Haynes and Timmie Jeffrey.

A gathering of Mrs. Smith’s family and friends will begin at 9:30 a.m. with her funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 31, 2018, at First Baptist Church of Anahuac, 405 Magnolia Avenue, Anahuac. Interment to follow at Rivon cemetery, Anahuac.
