Paul C. Pope

January 19, 1932 - August 17, 2018

Paul C. Pope, 86, of Orange, died Friday, August 17, 2018, at Christus Hospital-St. Elizbeth, Beaumont. He was born on January 19, 1932, to Grace Brown Pope and Carl Pope, in Hillister, and was a United States Navy veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Maudie A. Pope; son, Ronald J. Pope and his wife, Janet, of Jasper; grandchildren, Christine A. Bedwell of Big Spring and Greg A. Pope and his wife, Anna, of LaPorte; and great-grandchildren, Mason Pope, Gavin Pope, and Dylin Pope, all of LaPorte.

A graveside service for Mr. Pope will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, August 20, 2018, at Beech Creek Cemetery, Highway 1013, Spurger, under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Bob Currie Scholarship Fund, c/o the Texas Forestry Association, P.O. Box 1488, Lufkin, Texas 75902.
