    Jeff R Ingram says:

Peggy’s mom was my dad’s first cousin. I always called her mom Aunt Jessie and her dad Uncle Ed. Aunt Jessie’s mother was a sister of my grandfather, Joseph W Ingram and her father was the brother of my grandmother, Izetta Bailes Ingram. I last saw Peggy in 2001 or 2002 at a Ingram-Bailes reunion held in Marthaville, Louisiana as both families had lived in the Marthaville area since the late 1800s.

I had no idea Peggy had died. I was thinking about her and thought I would look her up and found her obituary. I was about 12 in the mid 1950s when I went to Beaumont to spend a couple of weeks with Aunt Jessie and Uncle Ed. Peggy was in college and she took me with her and a couple of her college girlfriends to see the Dragnet movie with Jack Webb. I always thought Peggy was so pretty and such a pleasant person like her mom. I’m so sorry to hear of her death although I’m about 6 years late learning that she died. Peggy was such a nice person. I hadn’t seen her in almost 50 years when I saw her at the family reunion but it was like I had just seen her a week or two before.
