Phillip Work

Phillip “Pat” Patrick Work, 73, of Kountze, died Tuesday, June 26, 2018. He was born on March 6, 1945, in Silsbee, to Vera Mae Brasher and Carter Hart Work.

Survivors include his wife, Nell Work; children, Scott Work and his wife Jennifer, both of Kountze and Patrick Work, of Evadale; siblings, Sue Lindeman and her husband, Kenneth, of Silsbee; Jimmy Paul Work, of Kountze; and David Work and his wife, Donna, of Lufkin; step-children, Chris Richard, Michael Richard, and Sandy Drake; and nine grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Phillip is preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Shannon Lea Work; brothers, Michael Work and Kenneth Lynn Work; and his sister, Anna Joan Hodges.

A gathering of Work’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, June 28, 2018, at Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze. His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 29, 2018, at Broussard’s, with his interment to follow at Old Hardin, Kountze.
