Rachel Howell

Rachel S. Howell, 84, of Silsbee, died Tuesday, February 20, 2018. She was born on August 15, 1933, in Oak Grove, Louisiana, to Ora Thames Stephens and Stone Stephens.

Survivors include her children, Michael Howell and Vikki May and her husband, Dennis, all of Silsbee; grandchildren, Crystal May and Courtney May; great-granddaughter, Kennedi Morrisey; brother, Billy Stephens and his wife, Cheryl; and sisters, Ruby Madden and Jean Trujillo. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Howell; two brothers; and two sisters.

A gathering of Rachel’s family and friends will be 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, February 22, 2018, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 23, 2018, at 1st Assembly of God, 950 Highway 96 South, Silsbee, with her interment to follow at Resthaven Cemetery, Silsbee.
