Randall Clay "Randy" Reese

May 25, 1965 - January 7, 2021

Randall Clay “Randy” Reese, 55, of Beaumont, died Thursday, January 7, 2021. He was born on May 25, 1965 to Beverly Peters and Henry Clay Reese in Beaumont.

Randy was born and raised in the north end of Beaumont, Texas, where he made lifelong friendships. He graduated in 1983 from French High School where he played football, baseball, and basketball. He graduated from Lamar in 1988 with a BBA in  Business.

He married his high school sweetheart, Myra Medina, in 1990. They had three sons who Randy loved with all his heart. In 2005, Myra went to be with Jesus. Randy poured his life into his sons, and they have grown to be young men their father was extremely proud of.

Randy was an avid sports fan. He shared his love of sports with his sons, and enjoyed coaching their teams as they grew up. Randy and his sons loved doing life together. They especially enjoyed watching games on tv while wearing the jersey of their favorite player.

Randy lived his life with purpose…to glorify the Lord and bring honor to Him. He raised his sons to do the same. His zest for life, his constant positivity, and his compassion for others will not be forgotten. It will live on in his sons and in the memory of those who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his three sons, Haden Reese, Houston Reese, and Holden Reese, all of Beaumont; mother, Beverly Reese, of Fannett; sisters, Brenda Walters and her husband, Charlie, of Lewisville and Deanna Gonzales and her husband, Donnie, of Beaumont; and nieces and nephews, Cody Walters, Chelsie Gonzales and Josh Gonzales.

As someone who usually has no trouble putting thoughts into words, I’m struggling. My heart is broken for his three sweet boys, they’ve had to deal with so much already. Randy and the smile he ALWAYS had on his face will be greatly missed here on earth but I’m certain he’s rejoicing with Jesus and Myra up in Heaven

I had the pleasure of working with and for Randy the last 3 years. He was such a kind soul. He always had something nice to say and was truly concerned about others. I always said he missed his calling as a "Life Coach"! His great outlook and attitude was contagious. I pray GOD gives his family comfort and peace during this time.

I went to French High School with Randy and Myra (grad w/Randy in 83’) I feel blessed to have memories of both of them that I will forever cherish. One particular class I had with Randy and Debra Manuel (Rice) was an art class that Randy and I would convince Debra to draw our pictures (because neither of us drew very well). I can still hear his wonderful laugh! His and Myra’s was a love most only dream of . Fly high sweet Randy. I pray you are reunited with Myra. May God give you comfort and peace.

Randy was a classmate of mine from French High. He had a kind, easy going personality Myra and I had a photography class together and she was a precious soul also. Myra had my daughter in her Mother's Day Out at Trinity. She touched my daughter life, and I was able to visit with her. She loved Randy and her children so much. I recall that she mentioned to me when she had one of her sons, Randy fainted! I can still hear her sweet voice and giggle. Such a love story. Prayers for the family..
