Raymond Jones
Raymond Louis Jones, 72, of Bridge City, died Sunday, January 13, 2019, at Vidor Nursing and Rehabilitation, Vidor. He was born on May 7, 1946, in Beaumont, to Hilda Casey and Tommy Louis Jones. Raymond was United States Marine Corps veteran, having served in Vietnam. He was a retired truckdriver.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Jones, of Bridge City; son Danton Jones and his wife, Jingle, of Winnie; stepdaughter, Tonya Moore; grandchildren, Noah Robicheaux and Tori Touchstone, and mother, Hilda Downey, of Sour Lake.
A special thanks to the staff of Vidor Nursing and Rehabilitation, and Texas Home Health and Hospice for the loving care they gave to Raymond.
A gathering of Mr. Jones’ family and friends will begin at 1:30 p.m., with his memorial service to follow at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, January 19, 2019, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A private family committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, 700 North Street, Suite M, Beaumont, Texas 77701.
