Gonna miss my Uncle Raymond! So many special memories with his family, growing up! Shared lots of things in common...love of watermelon, popcorn, and fried fish. But my favorite thing in common with Uncle Raymond was our never-ending love of God and good ole, Gospel music! Gonna miss hearing his harmonica and playing gospel songs for him on my keyboard...and his prayers. "Until then, my heart will go on singing..." Love, Thelma

I am so sorry to hear about Uncle Raymond. He is the last of the most remarkable Christian family I have ever known. He and his siblings never lost Faith in God, never forgot say Grace at mealtime and set a good Christian example for us younger people to live by. May their time on earth be the guide for us to set good examples for our children. Let this torch of Godliness be passed for all generations to come.

Janna and family, What a blessing this man must have been to all of you. I (DeLila) can remember being a bit jealous of you Janna when you would tell me stories of how your dad lived his faith every day and spoke of the Good Lord every day. What a blessing to have the peace to know he is with Jesus and we will see him again! We hope he took his harmonica with him because we want to hear him play "It is Well With my Soul." Our prayers are with all of you as you let God hold you in the palm of His hand and comfort you.

I spent half of my teen years with you all and have so many wonderful memories of Raymond and Faye. I was always greeted by Faye with her quick wit and warm hospitality. Then, like clockwork, Raymond would arrive home from work, set down his lunch box, helmet, and thermos and sweetly kiss Faye. Then we would all gather at the table, join hands in prayer and enjoy the food Faye prepared. Most of the time it was fresh from the backyard garden. Raymond would always have a twinkle in his eye when he would see us. Their home was full of faith, love and laughter. Raymond and Faye made a lasting impression on my life and I knew they loved me. Their faith in God and compassion for others was remarkable. I am so happy to know he is now reunited with his family and savior.
