Brother Palmer (by choice) married my husband and me 31 years ago. We chose him because although we had a large congregation, he knew us all by name and face. We weren't just another number. He was always a special person and will be missed.

I remember George as a quiet, thoughtful man of unquestionable character. He was a good example for his son David, myself and the many young men who looked to him as an example of how a man should conduct himself in all circumstances. I am better to have known him. He touched many lives and his contributions will be felt for a long time to come. Thank you, George, and Betty, his loving wife, for showing us through your actions how a marriage is meant to be. It did not go unnoticed.

Brother George was a big part of my life during my early years. I always looked up to him as a true man of faith. He was also a longtime friend of my Mom & Dad, and officiated at both of their funerals. I extend my thoughts and prayers to his entire family.
