Rickey Colichia
Rickey Colichia, 65, of Nederland, died Saturday, December 19, 2020. He was born on November 23, 1955, in Port Arthur, to Betty Lou Dore Colichia and Larry Gene Colichia.
Survivors include his wife of thirty-seven years, Jamie Colichia, of Nederland; son, Todd Colichia and his wife, Amber, of North Richland Hills; daughter, Ashleigh Ratcliff and her husband, Chase, of Nederland; grandchildren, Austin Colichia; Kailey Wilhelm; Braeleigh Ratcliff; Olivia Ratcliff; and Daniel Ratcliff; brother, Rodney Colichia and his wife, Tina, of Port Neches; sister-in-law, Cindy Colichia; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Kirk Colichia.
A gathering of Mr. Colichia’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Monday, December 28, 2020, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 29, 2020, at Broussard’s, Nederland, with his interment to follow at Memory Gardens of Jefferson County, Nederland.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association, 2400 Augusta Drive, Suite 175, Houston, Texas 77057-4989.

To the Colichia Family and Friends. I am sorry for your loss. Rickey and I worked on our cars, cruised the drag and hung out at each others houses when we were teenagers. We also worked at Gene Burns Texaco station together next to the old Market Basket. I laughed till I cried lots of times around him with that great sense of humor. We also got in trouble for doing burnouts in customers cars after we washed them! He was a great guy and will surely be missed. RIP Rickey.
