Ricky Heflin

Ricky Adrian Heflin, 55, of Winnie, died Tuesday, September 4, 2018, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas, Beaumont. He was born to Jo Ann Stedman and John Adrian Heflin, on March 31, 1963, in Ackerman, Mississippi. Ricky was very much an outdoors person. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodwork, and restoring antique cars. Ricky also collected many different types of guns.

Survivors include his companion of ten years, Rita Byrd; brother, Dennis Heflin; step-brothers, Mike Heflin and Butch Heflin; and aunts, Shirley Edwards and Nan Couners, all of Winnie; and sister-in-law, Becky Stevens.

Ricky is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Eddie Heflin; and aunt, Barbara Ivy.

A family committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie.
