Ricky Woods

Ricky Glenn Woods, 58, of Nederland, died Wednesday, October 31, 2018, at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas, Port Arthur. He was born September 22, 1960, in Kountze, to Patricia Ann Totten Woods and Jerry Ross Woods, Sr.

He enjoyed playing the guitar, riding his motorcycle, watching the Dallas Cowboys, and loved sweets, especially Little Debbie snacks. Most of all, he loved his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Mitzi Woods; daughter, Shannon Barnes and her husband, Kristopher; sons, Justin Woods and his wife, Alexandra; Christopher Woods and his wife, Brandy; Sean Woods and his wife, Crystal; grandchildren, Jenna Woods; Jada Woods; Bailey Barnes; Addison Barnes; Hunter Woods; Kaide Woods; Sofia Woods; and Jace Woods; mother, Patricia Totten Woods; sister, Vicki Creel and her husband, Mike, all of Nederland; brothers, Jerry Woods, Jr. and his wife, Kathy, of Fannett; Carl Woods and his wife, Carol, of Crystal Beach; and mother-in-law, Barbara Hebert.

Ricky is preceded in death by his father, Jerry Woods, Sr.

A memorial service for Mr. Woods will be 3:00 p.m., Saturday, November 3, 2018, at Pathway Church, 2326 Nederland Avenue, Port Neches. Cremation arrangements will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland.
