We are so sorry to hear about the death of Bob Herbst. What a nice man, who contributed so much to the Silsbee community. He represented the citizens of Silsbee as the President of the School Board, for many years and was an active member of the United Methodist Church., He was also active in the Silsbee Little Theater appearing appearing on stage in performances many of us do and will remember. He will be missed by many.

We were sad to hear of Bob’s death. He was such a pleasant person to be around. I learned a lot from Bob from his working days at the papermill. Such an inspiring person, you knew he loved his family especially those grandchildren. I know he will be missed dearly. May God give each of you the strength to carry on his legacy. Doris Cearley
