Rodney Gobert
Rodney Anthony Gobert, 71, of Vidor, died Wednesday, February 27, 2019, at Harbor Hospice, Beaumont. He was born on August 28, 1947, to Mary Agnus Landreneaux Gobert and John Justin Gobert, in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
Survivors include his daughters, Cheryl Marie Bouse, and her husband, Randy; and Samantha “Sam” Rae Martin, and her husband, Brian; grandchildren, Randi Marie Bouse, Thomas Anthony “Tony” Rogers, and Gabriel Ray Rogers; brother, John W. Gobert, and his wife, Martha, of Orange; sisters, Roxanne Navarro, and Diane Duke.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Cathryn Batson Gobert, parents, and three brothers.
Cremation arrangements will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.

We did not know Rodney was in hospice. , last we heard he was driving and running the roads. He will be missed. He is with Cathy again in Heaven. ❤️

We will always be thankful for this wonderful Veteran and his late wife Cathy for all the great memories of them. We had a lot of laughter and great times with both of them. The way they were always helping other's shall never be forgotten. Especially the Veterans. He was one of a few that held his oath and allegiance to his last breath. We did not know he was so ill. We pray for the family they leave behind that they loved so much.
