Ronald Jay Broussard, Sr.

February 14, 1941 - March 23, 2020

Ronald Jay Broussard, Sr., 79, of Beaumont, went to his place in heaven Monday, March 23, 2020, at Christus Southeast Texas-St. Elizabeth. He was born on February 14, 1941, to Ruby Julius Broussard and Maxine Broussard in Crowley, Louisiana. Ronald was a faithful member of St. Pius X Catholic Church and retired from National Concrete. 

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Laura Broussard; Sons:   Ronald “June” Broussard Jr.,  Reginald “Reggie” Broussard,  Johnathan “Boobie” Broussard, and Aurmon “Peewee” Broussard; Daughters: Tharsilla “Tarsie” Broussard, Kimothea “Kim” Berry, Janice Broussard, and Yootha “Tootie” Broussard; Daughter-in-laws Lakeisha Broussard and Ericka Broussard; Son-in-law: Charles Billups. Grandchildren: Tanesha Tate, Kymberlie Robinson, Jermell Broussard, Justin Broussard, Latasha Taylor, Marquis Hopper, Skyy Berry, Joe Berry, Jr., Ocie Lee Berry, Laura Robinson, Sharday Robinson, Sabrina Joy Broussard, Connie May Billups, Jacobie McGriff, Jazmyn Broussard, Indy Broussard, Reggie Broussard, Jr., Aleah Broussard, Johnathan Wayne Broussard, Terran Broussard, Taylor Broussard, Vanessa Broussard, Kaytlain Broussard, Joye Broussard, Jayla Broussard, King Broussard, Aurmon “Geral” Broussard, and Jaylin Broussard; 20 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Maxine Joseph Broussard; sister, Edna Broussard; twin brother, Donald Ray Broussard; and brother, Curtis Broussard.

A private family committal was held Saturday, March 28, 2020, at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont.

My deepest condolences to the Broussard family. May your heart be consoled by Yah Elohyim in your time of need. Our appointed time is in God's hands,and He knows what is best for each one of us. Ronald Broussard will be missed by all that knew him well. He left many memories and impressions for us to cherish for life. We are to hold dearly to those memories and remember the smiles he put on our face when that opportunity came for him to do so. Lord,we thank you for sharing Ronald Broussard with us,but we know he is truly home with no more pain or suffering. Rest in peace Father-n-Law,rest in peace .t. ❤

Mr Ronald was like my second day when it was a teenager him and Miss Laura treated me like I was their child! I will never forget how much love they showed me and how much I love their family! All the children are definitely admired and loved by me! Forever rest in peace until Jehovah awakens you to eternal life. Mr Broussard have fallen asleep and will always be remembered by me and your loved ones ❤️❤️
