Ruby Jewel Venable

August 23, 1950 - August 25, 2020

Ruby Venable, 70, of Silsbee, died Tuesday, August 25, 2020.  She was born on August 23, 1950, in Haskell, to Willie Holland Skiles and James Skiles.

Survivors include her husband, Richard Venable; children, Kevin Venable and Karin Cahanin and her husband, Cody, all of Silsbee; grandchildren, Jacoby Venable of Jasper and Dauson Venable of Silsbee; brothers, Junior Skiles, J.D. Skiles, and Jerry Skiles; sister, Shirley Steeley; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, Maxine Corbello and Norma Harvey.

A gathering of Mrs. Venable’s family and friends will begin at 9:00 a.m., with her funeral service at 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 4, 2020, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.  Her interment will follow at Franks Branch Cemetery, Fred.
