Sammy Caruthers Vance, Jr.

Sammy Caruthers Vance, Jr., 65, of Beaumont, died Sunday, March 29, 2020. He was born on August 11, 1954, to Vernice Vaughn Vance and Sam Caruthers Vance, in Charleston, Mississippi.

Sammy was known to his community as a very handy and hardworking man who loved to work on lawnmowers. He also enjoyed fishing in his spare time.

Survivors include his wife, Juanita Vance.

A graveside service was held at China Cemetery, China, under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
