Shirley Seale

Shirley Jean Seale, 84, of Silsbee, died Sunday, December 31, 2017, at San Jacinto Manor Nursing Facility, Deer Park. She was born on September 20, 1933, in Houston, to Hazil Park and Ford Roach. Shirley retired as a key punch operator at Texaco.

Survivors include her children, Sharon and her husband, Craig, of Kilgore; David Doss, of San Leon; William Doss, of Sulphur, Louisiana; and Brenda Murphy, of Fayetteville, North Carolina; siblings, Patsy Carpenter and her husband, Irvin, of Rosenburg; Marvin Stanford and his wife, Terry and Gregory McInnis, of Texas City; and Janice McInnis, of Las Vegas Nevada; and thirteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.

Shirley is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jack Seale; siblings, Beverly Rouse, Bobby Stanford, and Jacquline Young.

A gathering of Mrs. Seale’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, January 5, 2018, at Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze. Her funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 6, 2018, at Broussard’s, with her committal to follow at Jordan Cemetery, Honey Island.
