Stanley Cooper Smith, Sr.

Stanley Cooper Smith, Sr., 87, of Beaumont, died Sunday, May 30, 2021. He was born on April 27, 1934, in Dayton, Ohio, to Mary Cooper Smith and Garland Benjamin Smith.

Survivors include his daughter, Mary Michael and her husband, William, of Katy; son, Stanley Cooper Smith, Jr. and his wife, Rhonda, of Rockwall; brother, Garland Thomas Smith, of Gulf Breeze, Florida; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Janice Dayona Smith; and granddaughter, Ashley Nichole Smith.

A memorial service for Mr. Smith will be from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., Saturday, July 24, 2021, at Amelia Farm & Market, 8600 Dishman Road, Beaumont. A family committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
